Doug Stuber

Doug Stuber is an abstract expressionist, user of found materials and recycled or thrown away paint, who uses art to examine the constantly swaying emotions that have pervaded his life since he was 14. He attempts to let the differences in viscosity and chemistry paint the painting for him. Understanding colors and expressing feelings without thought, on as purely emotional level as possible is the goal.

Artist Statement

Another one-shot. This one can also be hung upside down, and then it changes to an African orator in profile. The solitude and agony of Monk-hood seemed an appropriate mix with the love agony on the moors. It\'s a cross cultural coup. — Doug Stuber
