Artist Statement

The Swiss Family Robinson is a novel about getting back to basics and centering life around family values, the uses of the natural world, and self-reliance. Although written many years ago this theme is still very relevant today and a challenge in our Modern, digital world. For this reason, I decided to give this design a very Modern and clean look, reflecting the simplicity of these pared-down, traditional values. — Liza Donovan
