"The Vincennes Trace was a major trackway running through Kentucky, Indiana, and Illinois. Formed by millions of migrating bison, the Trace crossed the Ohio River near the Falls of the Ohio and continued northwest to the Wabash River, near present-day Vincennes. This piece was created because I live right on the old 'Vincennes Trace.'" -Philip Vetter
